Bronco the Mac

Don't Forget, we have an upcoming event in St. Ignace, "Bronco the Mac".

Thursday June 8th and early Friday June 9th, we will try and coordinate different caravans spots from across MI (We will just try and connect people, not organize the caravans themselves)

Friday June 9th, starting with a drivers meeting @9:30AM we will be caravanning over the Mackinac Bridge, enjoying some St. Ignace sights and then getting together for dinner and some socializing.

Saturday will be on your own, but we are working with St. Ignace Visitors Bureau to communicate different local trail ride options. There is everything from open rolling ORV routes to pretty extreme Drummond Island trails available as day trips from St. Ignace. We need trail lead volunteers, PM me if you would like to help.

There will be a ride sticker, club t-shirts and club stickers available for purchase at the event Friday.

You need to register before the deadline of May 29th.  No on-site registration!

OK, we got some additional info. There are not really any rides planned by the organizer. We will help coordinate one local "on-road" tour for Saturday. The MIBC is also organizing a "easy" trial ride for Friday after the bridge crossing and we will have a special area designated for the club to get together for the supplied dinner. Saturday we are organizing a couple of trail rides (moderate and advanced) but we will hit our limits of participants pretty quick if we don't have additional trail leader volunteers. We will develop a final schedule/agenda in the next few days. We will also have a pre-meeting June 1st at 7PM via Zoom. https://us06web.zoom.us/j/81420610369?pw...9pbTNoQT09

Interesting comment about no rides by the organizer… considering there website says:
Big Grin
Several guided trail riding and road trips with group stops

The club that originally was going to run the trail rides for the event had some issues and backed out. We are going to work with them to try and help coordinate as best we can. They have been very good to work with so far. As a first year event, bumps are to be expected!

I put together a draft route for the Friday Trail Ride at Bronco the Mac. I am not sure if the free version allows you to look at public routes, but it should be available to view, download or follow.  Note- this has not been pre-ridden or reviewed by anyone local to verify trial condition, may not be the final Friday Route.
