So it’s official. I will be the proud owner of another “T6” platform product, again built at MAP, a 2025 Ranger Lariat 4x4.
My order went into the system Monday, hope to get scheduled next month for a March build date (I am the only Ranger on order at Royal Oak Ford)
I’ll be in Europe most of March, but if things work out right when I get back I’ll be picking this truck up.
Now I can leave the doors off (well tube doors on) the Bronco most if not all of the summer (because I won’t have to drive it to Dearborn for work anymore).
Also Home Depot runs will be easier. I love my 2 Door Bronco but it lacks storage space for things like my golf clubs (which fit in my Corvette easier) let alone most things I buy at Home Depot without throwing the rear seats down (and then you have an uneven load floor and dirty things mess up the interior a lot).
So the Bronco will transition to a more fun car with occasional off-road excursions (with the doors on!) plus a fun “snow storm” car. The Corvette (which is getting up in age) will be mostly for weekend “fun” cruising and not doing anything real intensive like going to the store
