I think Kevin G mentioned we have 36 signed up so far. We will probably take about 45 registrations, as a few people have to drop out every ride, for one reason or another. Should be a fun time. We will schedule a call in August to go over options and introduce everyone.
HOLLY COW its happening again. This year I am planning on getting up there to the camp site Thursday evening. Last year I stayed at trailhead restaurant and campground and it was a great place. If ya’ll looking for good food and an offroad atmosphere then this is it. It’s a good place for an event as well, just putting that out there. Cant wait for a great time.
Make sure you are registered!
Hello!
This is more a question for Kevin Guzniczak, the ride director, but we signed up with friends & wanted to know if we could all be in same trail groups.
I know it is early & there is a lot of logistics involved.
Thank you!
Becki
If you will email me at guzie1@yahoo.com the names and I will see what we can do
Thank you!!!
Curious, as I am trying to plan a long weekend, it’s my birthday weekend, etc. Are the plans to hit the same trails/areas on Friday & Saturday ? Or are there tentative plans to do different things both days?
I was thinking of going to Toronto Wed/Thurs and drive over Friday, to attend for Saturday.
Any info would be appreciated!!! Loved it last year, and really looking forward to it this year now that I am not a rookie
While I don’t have the trail specifics yet, we do plan on running different things each day. I believe we were running the Turtleridge off road park there on Friday along with whatever trails we can fit in with the state trails. A run out to Marblehead should be Saturday. We are going to have a leader team meeting here soon to plan routes in more detail.
We went through the registration group and routes last night. We will try and get final groupings out in the next week or two and then have a Teams call at the beginning of September to go over everything.
Just signed up and got my room reservation made! Looking foreward to the trip.
Welcome. I saw the response notice. I’ll get you added to the email list I have for the event and send you a welcome email here shortly.
I belive we are on the list, I already recieved an email
If you got an email, you are in the list! Kevin G will send out the groups in the next week or so. We will also send a link for a pre-ride call at the beginning of September. I am looking forward to seeing everyone up there.
We sent out a teams meeting link and the Saturday meal ticket link for the breakfast and dinner today. If you didn’t get the email and you are registered, let me know.
never got the teams link or info on the meal tickets
We had a problem with the Teams meeting. Bill Turnau will be sending a Zoom meeting invite as a substitute. We will link the call here on this thread as well.
Below are the links for paying for the breakfast and dinner. You will need to pay for all breakfast tickets in one transaction and all dinner tickets in a separate transaction. Do not purchase tickets for children 15 and under. We will work something out with the resort on pricing or including the kids with the parents.
Breakfast: 2024 Drummond Island Breakfast Buffet | Michigan Bronco Club
Dinner: 2024 Drummond Island Buffet Dinner | Michigan Bronco Club
You can’t see the tickets in the store, you will need to click or copy and paste the link on each one, buy as many tickets as you need for that meal, pay, then do the same for dinner.
OK, Teams wasn’t working for any of us, so we will use free Google meet. Here is the link, in case you don’t see the email for some reason.
