Front/Rear Diff and Transfer Case Lube Change

I did a 30K mile lube change on the front and rear differentials and also on the transfer case. The front diff and transfer case are very easy to change once the skids are removed. Last fall I serviced the skids and it was interesting on how much the skids had a lot of scrapping and some rust. I have a DV8 rear diff skid, when that was pulled, there was a lot of sand that built up since they were serviced last fall. I’ll be looking to modify the skids to have better drainage. Th rear diff was also very easy to change. The cover does have to be removed to drain. Both the front and rear diffs had very little metal particles/past on the drain magnets. The rear diff looked really good. The majority of the time was removing/re-installing/cleaning up the skids.
