Re: Facebook and the site:
I refuse to advertise, collect any data or do any analytics whatsoever. All data is local on my home server (backup up on NAS, hosted on fiber with WAF, blah, blah). Anywho’s, I’m very suspicious of FB. I’d “like” to have the main FB page posts to auto-post into the site, but I’m not sure about enabling FB logins that would enable their tracking.
But, this is a bit off topic for new off-roading. I’m so glad people are using the site to connect up. That’s absolutely what it’s for!
Many of us are suprised people prefer to use paid, tracked sites vs. something free and oriented towards actual people, but Facebook and Instagram are where the bulk of people the right age for Bronco owners congregate. Thanks to Jake for keeping the forums and website going!
Jake, I appreciate all that you’ve. The forum is awesome. I wish the forum would get more traffic. Hopefully we can get more directed from fb over to the forum.
Yea, I don’t know either or else I’d have some suggestions. Really its hard to even meet new people if you don’t have Facebook or some other Social Media. I’ve not had an account in over 14 years and I’m not going back either. It’s just sad that this is how life has become, people only interact on Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram.
