I added some DV8 shock skids to my Bronco last week. It went pretty well and I was impressed with the quality of the skids and the installation process. I was surprised at how much caked on mud/sand was on the calipers after several trips to the power wash. Definitely will need to pull the wheels after off road trips to spray off the brakes and sensors!
Thanks to @Jayson for use of his awesome portable lift, garage and monster impact tool!
Isn’t that a squatch suspension in those pics?
Standard Badlands “non-squatch”. Still has the Bilstein’s, just about .6" lower. My plan is to add the Eibach springs, that should get me to just above SQ height, but maintain the stock shocks. We have a fun project coming up to swap stock SQ shocks and Springs form one two door SQ to another 2dr Black Diamond non- SQ. Stay tuned! The other Bronco will be one of the early uses of the Fox 2.5 system as well.
