Rotated my tires for the 4th time today at just under 30,000 miles. The worst one was 5/32, I had a set at 6/32, one at 7/32 and strangely one at 8/32.
The 7/32 and the 8/32 are now on the rear wheels the 6/32s on the front, and the 5/32 is on the tail gate. If I’m lucky I’ll get another 5000 miles out of these tires before I need to get a new set.
Long time for me, usually I wear out tires around 20-25k. I guess truck tires just last longer (I’m used to sports cars and “hot” sedans/coupes/hatches).
I have been doing the 5 tire rotation and getting good life out of both the BFG KO2s I started with and the GY Territories. The problem is all of the all terrains howl like crazy after about 1/2 tread life. Hopefully the Bronco isn’t a daily driver in a couple of weeks and I can measure my tires in years and not miles
Mine stopped being my daily just over a year ago (1 year 5 days to be exact), and I’ve put on I think 3500 miles since then. I don’t notice the noises the car makes anymore lol.
